Maximilian Klammer, MSc & MArch

Maximilian Klammer, 1991 * Vienna, graduated from the HTL for structural engineering in Villach / Carinthia to study architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. Shaped by his diverse career, Klammer puts his artistic focus on synergy effects between objective opposites on different levels and their dynamic interaction, under the key concept of "cohesive heterogeneity". Based on geometry and materiality, he develops adaptive structures that respond to the rapid changes in our environment. In October 2020 he completed the postgraduate course "Integrative Technologies & Architectural Design Research" at the University of Stuttgart, during which Maximilian examined the structural and formal transformation of a wooden hollow beam. Since then he has devoted himself to various projects in which the constructive transformation and its positive benefits are in the foreground.
